the way of hope initiative

"I will save you that you may become a blessing."
Zechariah 8:13

Last year more than 30 million pilgrims traveled to Rome to take part in the year of Jubilee. Many walked on the Via Francigena from Siena to Rome. Below is a report of how we came alongside pilgrims and joined the Holy Spirit in engaging the curious and equipping the follower so everyone can find their place in God's story.

Blessed to be a blessing

Setting out on a journey, we know where we want to arrive, but we don’t know exactly how we’ll get there. We embrace the thrill of discovery, facing uncertainty and challenges with faith and courage.

We watch for the signposts, trusting the trail is there, even when the way isn’t clear. We walk with others, becoming part of their journey as they become part of ours. As followers of Christ, we long to help others find their destination in Him. We take initiative, offering the hope we’ve found while learning from those we meet along the way.

We don’t need to have all the answers or be ready for everything we will face. God uses the path ahead to prepare us, stretching and growing us step by step. Through each encounter, challenge, and moment of grace, He shapes and guides us.

Sometimes the next step is a question. Sometimes it’s a moment of silence, a vulnerable story, or a bold proclamation. We are always ready to walk alongside others, pointing them to the One who leads us all. We know we are pilgrims too, inspired and shaped by the journey. Together, we take each step, hoping to arrive at our destination in Christ—together.

Will you take the next step with us as we prepare for 2027?
